Kenyatta Visits Botswana

President Uhuru Kenyatta will today, Wednesday visit Botswana

His follows an invitation from President Seretse Khama Ian Khama.

The President will fly to Gaborone for the one day official visit after concluding his two day trip to South Africa.

Kenyatta will hold talks with President Khama on bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Kenya's High Commissioner to Botswana Jean Kimani said Botswana supports the deferral of the ICC cases against President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.

Jean also added that the Southern African nation had initially backed the idea of bringing the trial of the cases nearer home. SCROLL DOWN TO LEAVE A COMMENT
