Lionel Messi, Franck Ribéry and Cristiano Ronaldo are the three names on the shortlist for the 2012/13 UEFA Best Player in Europe Award but who would your choice be to take the prize in the live vote in Monaco on 29 August?
Messi
added to his long list of landmarks in 2012/13 by hitting 46 league
goals to propel FC Barcelona to the Spanish Liga title. Ribéry helped FC
Bayern München land a historic treble of Bundesliga title, German Cup
and UEFA Champions League. Ronaldo, meanwhile, finished as leading
scorer in the UEFA Champions League for the second time with his 12
goals for Real Madrid CF. But who do you think should claim an accolade won last year by Barcelona's Andrés Iniesta?
Journalists
from each of UEFA's member associations may have given us that top
three but would you have put other players higher up the list? Arjen
Robben, Bayern's Wembley final match winner, and Borussia Dortmund
striker Robert Lewandowski, author of four goals against Madrid in a
single UEFA Champions League semi-final match, ranked fourth and fifth –
would you have placed them higher? Have your say in the comments box
below or on Twitter, Facebook or Google+ using #UEFABestPlayer.
