US President Barack Obama left Tanzania Tuesday at
the end of a three-nation Africa tour aimed at boosting trade ties but
overshadowed by the ill health of anti-apartheid icon Nelson Mandela.
A Tanzanian guard of honour saluted and marching
bands played farewell music before Obama and his family took off from
the economic capital Dar es Salaam, heading back home to the United
States.
